Here’s a new clamshell pattern for you! This one has a feather to add a touch of fancy to it without making it too busy or making the stitch-out take too long. Enjoy!
For a customer’s quilt, we needed a cute, southwest gecko pattern that was “us”. Here’s what I came up with.
Hey – on the recommendation of my sister I just tried laying out Rings E2E in an alternating pattern. Look at how neat it looks! A totally new look. Hope you like it too.
Here’s a new, fresh pattern for all you digital quilters! How about a new twist on a traditional feather pattern? Take a look at the Feathered Star Flower Border and Corner pattern by Three Sisters….
Hi there! I’ve just uploaded two new modern E2E patterns. They both easily repeat from one row to the next and make quite the statement on a quilt. Enjoy!
I just uploaded a new favorite digital quilting pattern for all you longarm quilters! It’s a good, old-fashioned, traditional pattern – just the kind we love around here. Hope you like it as much as we do!
…And… Did you notice? We named the pattern after our wonderful little niece? A graceful pattern for a graceful little lady! 🙂
We were soooo privileged to be allowed to do this quilt! One of our favorite, “memory-making” (you know what you mean to us!) customers brought it to us. It was truly a work of art and we felt the responsibility of such an undertaking. This quilter had spent hours upon hours doing detailed little blocks, borders, and applique. She had picked out PERFECT fabrics. The quilt was stunning. And we had the joy of quilting it!
I hope you find it as enjoyable as we did!

I did this quilt for Kathy Lyon in December of 2012. While it was cold and snowy outside this was a beautiful, tropical quilt to work on in the warmth of my studio. It was Kathy’s first appliqué and a joy to work on. The center was all free hand and borders were patterns that were placed using the Statler Stitcher. Kathy just received the call that the quilt won Best of Show at the Elkhart County Fair. We are thrilled!
We just love feathers around here and this quilt has them! The kite shape was somewhat unique, so I designed a custom feather for it…And called it… Feathered Kite. It fell right into place and complimented Emily’s Feathers Border & Corner just as I wanted it to. As another quilter told me once, “Feathers have personality! They HAVE to match.” Well said!
